Challenges

The Blogger Interview Tag

Posted on Updated on

Thankyou Erika ma’m for nominating me for this challenge. This is the first time I am doing anything sort of an interview, lol 😛

Do visit her blog people, https://erikakind.wordpress.com, Its full of love and inspiration. Whenever I need motivation, I scroll through her blog.

So here are the rules of the challenge-

* Mention the person who tagged you
* Answer the questions in full
* Don’t forget to tag up to ten other bloggers at the end, I will act as if I didn’t read this rule 😛

Here are the questions:

How did you get into blogging?
I used to write earlier, 3-4 years back and then I stopped writing completely. I thought that I lost the charm of writing and then in January one fine day, I just felt like writing, out of nowhere. I took out my laptop and started typing something which just flew from inside. After it was done, I felt nice and happy.

That day something clicked inside me which made me feel that writing is special to me, it is the tool which will help me grow and help me channelize my flow of thoughts and I should not let this habit go what so ever happens but then, for doing anything, we need a reason, so Toodletales became my reason. Earlier, I used to write for myself 😛 I didn’t know about the followers system or the themes or anything as such. It was like a diary to store my work but then eventually it grew, it is still growing.

What advice would you give to a blogger just starting out?
I don’t think that new bloggers will need an advice, blogosphere is just a platform to have fun so just enjoy posting what so ever you are posting, blogosphere will appreciate and love it.

What would be your dream campaign?
Do what you love; life is too small to compromise.

Do you have a plan for your blog?
Not yet, currently, I just want to write more and more. I’ve been quite lazy lately.

What do you think about rankings?
I have no idea what it is in blogosphere but I guess it is something where blogs are ranked? If it is then I don’t appreciate it, blogosphere is the only place where I don’t expect comparison, real world is enough for that.

There is no better way, just the hard way

hard-work-is-the-key-to-success

I don’t want to be cautious, I want to be free. I just want to fly on my own accord to see where I will be. Sometimes when I open my eyes, I see everything that I want to be in ten years down the line in front of my vision, not that my options are closed, but right now some dreams just seem to fit perfectly in the abrupt puzzle of my mind.

Sometimes I fear that my dreams are way too big; will I even be able to fulfill it? There are some who burden me with expectations while the others they charmingly rebuke me with their smartly analysed opinions. I try to avoid them at all costs but at times, they do get inside in any one of my brain lot. It literally itches me as if some bug has bitten me. When it gets way too infuriating, I just use my virtual pest tools to remove them all from my brain rooms.

My pest tools are great; they take me out of so many disdains. They help me to overcome my cynical mindset; they help me in being an optimistic self. I have grown to love them, to cherish and to nurture them. They make me strong, they make me feel worthy and they show me my light which helps me to shine bright. They assist my broad smile to throw confidence which in turns help me to develop into a better self.

They emphasize on my potentials and help me to the polish the same; they make me realize that my power of hard work will make me achieve all that I crave. They also say, to not bother about the pests, rather to just keep up the long haul in silence as my success will make the noises.

She feared the mule, his size was enormously huge but indeed, he looked pretty well groomed. The guides lovingly called him as Kur. With a sullen face, she reluctantly went and sat on his saddle which made her butt ache. It was nowhere near comfortable. She sighed and held him tight. She was riding up in the mountain slopes into the alpine forests; though excited, her body seemed frightened. The mule did not appeal her. He stopped as he pleased just to devour his meal. The guide found him to be a veteran in the route, so he didn’t even care to glance at Kur. Eventually, she got over him and started looking around, she felt happy as the green patches started to decline. Small areas of snow appeared in her sight. Her lips were twitching upwards, her eyes were shining bright, she couldn’t believe, this will be her first time. Ever since, she was a child, she wanted to play in snow and have the time of her life.

In a while, she could easily spot the white background peering through the skies, she actually felt so close to the snowline. Finally, she ushered into the alpine meadows, the start from the where the snow-capped mountain rose. She felt as if she is getting inside the hazy white sky. She looked everywhere with fascination, the feeling what she felt was beyond comprehension.

After a long ride in the meadows, she stood there on the snowline. She couldn’t believe her eyes. The scenery was so whitley bright; it reflected purity in every sight. Wooden skies running on the pistes were being enjoyed by kids and adults alike. She dashed on the snow, her first experience made her glow. She jumped and she played. She watched the cloud descend on the slopes. It felt heavenly when she caught the snow cap peaks on the other side rising above the horizon.

Two- three hours flied, she didn’t even realize. It was the time to go her father said, sadly she obliged. Kur was patiently waiting for her.  She dreaded the fact that she had to sit on it once more. Her muscles seemed stiff and sore, but she had to go. As she got back on his saddle, her eyes darted towards the tour guides; she saluted them in her mind. They walk all the way up here every day with so much of ease, thinking about it only, makes her feel fatigued.

Just fly away

I feel all almighty and powerful as I hold your freedom in my hand, even though you are meant to fly. Your obsequious behavior is enchanting to me; I certainly can’t set you free. Your wings are my part now; a subtle hold on them makes me strong now, but till when? Till when will I stop you, till when will I cage you? There will be this one day when you will fly off leaving me all by myself.

My heart wrenches thinking the same, the control I have on you makes me feel better about myself. I like the feeling of suppressing, the feeling of being the master of your doings but why do I wish to alleviate this pleasure? It sometimes sickens me but my addiction for the same tricks me to follow it.

The duality of the situation says either I should grasp you much hard or just leave you to fly by your own self, to explore your own world and your own land but then I fear that you will fall, someday hard. Who will be there to pick you up then? I will possibly be long gone.

But then they say, Dangerous freedom is better over peaceful slavery any day.

Allergic to E Challenge

Posted on Updated on

Lol 😛 I don’t usually accept such challenges or awards because half the time I am way too lazy to write, but this one was worth accepting. Thankyou Chhaya for nominating me for this challenge.

I am writing this one for the Letter E itself,

I didn’t know how important is your part  for my passion. Your sound proclaims so much of fascination. Without you right now I am frowning, my brows look scrunch as it is not at all plain sailing. My brain hurts as I push it, to find words without you in it. Your loss moulds writing so hard that I grow this annoying irritation in my mind. I am sorry, I cannot go much far in this as it is troubling my sanity now and I don’t wish to risk it.

This was so crappy 😛 But nevertheless, I enjoyed it!

I am not nominating anyone but feel free to accept this challenge if you find it interesting!

  Pehalgam, Shrinagar

She was busy capturing memories, posing in every other angle and face. Her eyes went towards the little creature roaming out there, she ran towards him to hold him in her arms, to caress him and to take cute pictures where they will be only inches apart. He was so soft and so clean, the white fur felt like silk in her palms. She enjoyed every moment of it and took it all in her heart and also in the memory of her camera card. The little creature darted his tail and ran farther away somewhere. She ran behind him to catch him. It was only in stories that rabbits are swift, she thought but at that moment she was proven wrong.

Panting she sat there down on the lush green grass filled ground, picking them out, her thoughts darted elsewhere. Instead of admiring the beauty, she started being pensive. Life is a little like that, I guess. We’d spend so long chasing after something OR someone already in motion, always out of reach and calling, just ahead. We run behind it for so long, all we get is exhausted and frowned. Ironically, we don’t even accept things or persons running towards us instead we run farther away from it. Is any of it worth it?

Her thoughts weren’t ready to leave but reluctantly she had to leave, Life and time didn’t permit her to sit this long. She stood up and strolled back to her knight who she denied for hundreds of times. He patiently waited for her; she went to him and stood up on her toes just to whisper, “Yes” in his ears.

My Nomination for Day 1 is Bhumi only because I want her to write more often, she is so lazy. Also, she is amazing and utterly annoying as you get to know her.
